air source heat pump and electricity provider

we bought a house that had both gas and electric from british gas we had the gas removed and more or less knocked down the original house.

we built a new house on the footprint and extended we have had UFH installed run by an air to water air source heat pump and we are still using british gas for the electricity.

my question is should i be looking for an alternative utility company or am i best sticking with BG

Use the comparison sites to find what you could save. If you have history of how many kwh of energy you consume over a year then the more accurate the sites will be. Most of the big energy suppliers have upped their prices so it is probably a good time to switch.

i can probably dig out bills from my last house but only just moved into this one with the ashp
