Do Ryanair have a standard admin fee or do they just make it up depending on what you are claiming back?
I have two flights to Venice for september i can't use, the costs are:
 Fare price: 0.04
 debit card fee: 2.80
 Web baggage: £20
 Taxes: 39.96
Is it a total waste of time me trying to claim the taxes and baggage fee?Proud to be dealing with my debts!

Yes you can claim taxes etc.See below extract from Sunday Times article.
"Always seek a refund from the company that sold you the ticket, whether that is your local travel agent, a tour operator, or the airline itself. There may be an administration fee to process the refund, up to about £30.
British Airways claims to process refunds in 7-10 days, and bookings made on www.ba.com can have refunds processed online"
We were successfully paid taxes from an unused flight.

That 39.96 won't be taxes, it'll be taxes & charges the difference being that taxes are refundable whereas charges aren't.Trembling_Turnip wrote: »Do Ryanair have a standard admin fee or do they just make it up depending on what you are claiming back?

However as Ryanair's admin fee is higher than the tax you can get back it's a waste of time trying0
