I know what you mean, hobbledehoy. I think the BDC's have a 3 hour turnaround target ... but it's only a target, as you well know it's routinely missed. Folk think I'm talking out my hat but the staff genuinely do bust a gut to return telephone calls. But it's a bit like a sinking ship, for every bucket of water you throw over the side, another two bucketfuls get slung your way. Benefit delivery staff invariably end their working day no better off than when they started.

I see no-one's even attempted to participate in the scenario I posed just after 1am. Has everyone's hyperlink button broken ? Can't access the DMG ? Or don't want to ! It's a shame no-one's playing. There's three customers still waiting for a reply to their queries, plus another 500 odd who've called in during the intervening period :p
I no longer contribute to the Benefits & Tax Credits forum.

I know what you mean, and yes I understand what you are trying to get at. I don't need to wade through that lot to understand the problems faced by the DWP.
Don't worry I have taken a print out of your comments and I will be handing them over to my MP when I see him up in London. He won't get away with a - well yes it is because......... from me! He can give me all the reasons and excuses under the sun as to what has happened in the past in my case, but I am also very concerned about what is going to happen in the future. I do not want to have to keep contacting him with the same problems next year!!

    Presumably I'm a liar too ... because I worked there ?
