Thomson Travel Insurance

Recently booked a holiday on Thomson's website and took out insurance with them at the time of booking which was Dec 29th. Now with all the medical condition fees that have to be paid on extra to this cost, does anyone know how I can cancel out of this policy and if there is a fee for this?

    You should have a 14 day cooling off period when you can cancel and get a full refund provided you haven't claimed in the meantime.
  • Please also note that the 14 day cooling off period which is standard to ALL suppliers is pre-departure only. Strangely, we are the only Long Stay travel insurance specialists in the United Kingdom and yet our Clients very rarely purchase more than 14 days before departure. As per previous informed reply, quite rightly so, to cancel, Thomson should ask you to confirm that you have destroyed all documentation/emails relevant to cover and confirm that no claims have or will be made. They are at liberty to charge you an administration fee.
