I tend to go to Asda, but their prices can vary so much from one week to another, have had quite a few bits from Tesco lately from their offers, especially the Kenco refill packs for £1.75, I'm stocking up on them, Tesco is nearest so I can just walk there, at the end of last year I had a teaching job near to a Sainsburys so would call in there about 3pm and get the reductions at the same time, I think the thing is to shop around and not stick to one store, I tend to call in if I'm passing and have time but again only get what you need otherwise you'll probably end up spending a lot more.0

I had placed this in another thread, but could see no harm in adding it here.
As my signature implies we stopped using Tesco a long time ago.
Prices are generally higher, including petrol and diesel.
A lot of the staff think they own the place. Attitude stinks.
Somebody has to pay for the club card points. (customer does through higher prices).
We mainly shop at Asda (lower prices, really good tasting vegetables, with friendlier and more helpful staff).
Also use Lidl for additional items. Certain items from there are exceptionally good.
Dan.We used to to shop at Tesco. But then we saw the light.0 -
I use Tesco (mainly as my other half has a staff discount card and also for the Clubcard rewards) however some weeks I use M&S Simply food....this week they have a lot of really good offers and also I have money off vouchers for January (£5 off £25) so this week M&S has worked out the better value shop.0

I home delivery from Te$co and top up in the local $ainsbury$. I also get a few bits and pieces in my local co$tcutter.
I would like to shop in Morri$on$ / A$da but they are both too far away and home delivery from A$da is just a nightmare so I avoid now.
I'm trying to be better with my food spending especially with the 20 % vat now and the price increases generally - i.e. only buy if its needed including the whoopsies and not be caught up buying something just because it falls into my basket - so meal plan etc0 -
B & M homestore for cleaning items and crisps, farmfoods for frozen& milk,Sainsburys at 5pm some weekdays for bargains.
Lidl for other cheapies, fortunately all of these are within a couple of miles of our house and near to work but as our New year resolution is less supermarket visits we may just stick to Lidl and B&M,& Sainsburys if work goes well! ( self employed OH)0 -

Ive often seen the Kenco refill bag in 99p stores and poundland ( red bag) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
