I set up a DD with BT and received a red bill saying I owed £100. I phoned and was told that this was OK, all the notes were on the system that I would be paying the £100 debt with the DD and I wouldn't be cut off.

I've been cut off. And the auto "you must pay" service won't let me talk to anyone to find out what the heck has happened!! (I've tried 150 and 0800 800 150)

Anyone got a number them so I can speak to a human??

ETA: I've just paid the outstanding balance, I think it's outragious that I wasn't allowed to talk to anyone about this matter!! Where's the best place to complain to?

I am the official company representative of BT. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

With regards to bt company representative, my OH used all methods of complaints including the representative on MSE and it came to nothing even going to otelo, finally i got ian livingston's email addy and within a hour he personally called my OH and his office are dealing with the problem. But there is i would say in general that most customer service people at bt don't read the screen right in front of them.
