  • Thanks OP what a great deal. Ast he previous poster said the stove can cost £10 on its own as i paid that last year but even though i've already got a stove the rest of the equipment alone is worth more than £15 (I saw the saucepan set for more than that on its own) At this price its perfect as i'm doing quite a bit of camping this year so it will get a lot of use and if it gets broken never mind!

It's a good deal and well worth picking up if you're intending to do lightweight camping next year. Can't really go wrong as all these stoves are much of a muchness, plus a basic set of camping pots won't go wrong.

Just don't go near their own brand sleeping bags or tents, especially the "everything you need for a family of..." packs. Trust me on this....the sleeping bags are one season types ie only suitable for high summer in a heatwave, not the average UK summer! And the tents are flimsy and poor quality. There are plenty of things you can economise over when it comes to camping gear but your tent and sleeping bag should be the best quality you can afford.

Wouldn't really class this as lightweight camping equipment, o.k. if you're staying in one place. I'd rather use a spirit stove like the Swedish Trangia army ones (plenty of cheap ones on Ebay) if I had to walk much with them.
