Actually is that brilliant. This rucksack is really good, pans are standard camping gear. Plastic storage tubs are the pukka ones which clip down. Gas stove is in a case. No gas supplied but easy to pick up anywhere.

Sirbrainy - perhaps a link to your claims would be useful.

Not trying to pee on anybody's party but eg Asda always offers these stoves + refills for a tenner in the BBQ season, down here we also have Trago's and they ALWAYS have them similarly cheaply. The pans look OK but not worth more than a couple of quid. Rucksack is not worth much.

Halford's price was £24.99 with full margin so £15 on offer looks better but not outstanding.

LOVE Trago's, you must be down in the West Country. OH was eyeing theirs up last year for about £7-8 although they didn't have a case. Can't see stove and 3 gas delivered for a tenner on your link :p but looks like an interesting site.

I see the Halfords RRP as £59.99 although they must be dreaming to expect to get that. Would say for the content, value is probably around the £20 mark.

    Cornwall!

Yep, £20 would be fair so I can't see that £15 is that brilliant.

I have a husband who camps anywhere and even he has said that a cooker, backpack, tools etc is a good buy.

It is when DS1 & DS2 are Scouts (always camping) and DH is an angler who likes his home comforts!

  • As said these gas stoves can be bought for £10 but even so you get a fair bit extra so at that price its a good buy. Thanks op.
