Hello
Having a lot of trouble with EDF switch and have sent 2 emails which have had no reply and another today.

Does anyone have a fast-track address I can use? director@edf.com or similar?
I need to go to the top as the service is just ridiculous.
Thanks

Many thanks for that. Have a selection of those e-mails to try and clarify my switching status, and to register a complaint about the poor service levels of EDF.0

This is all so similar to those ISA Providers who underestimated demand for their promotional rates and offers.
Insufficient people processing, an inadequate and unready IT system, complicated manual processes and then the groundswell of complaints taking more and more productive time away from the call centres.
Poor planning, poor management. Not unexpected sadly.0 -
They're French, what do you expect? I'm joking before anyone accuses me of xenophobia. But their planning here has been absolutely pathetic. Surely they knew that offering £80 cashback PLUS £100 welcome bonus plus the (slightly misleading but it may hold true) pledge to hold prices until April 2011 would incur a massive response? What a time to change their IT system.
Luckily, as a serial switcher, I'm not staying with them beyond the time I can escape with just the exit fee to pay. Sorry if that sounds mercenary...0 -
I hope you don't get Npower in the lucky (unlucky) dip. :rotfl:
Let's face it,though, they are all rubbish to varying degrees.0
