Strangely , i was just thinking of Fengirl the other day...i hadnt noticed her on the boards in ages.

Always gave good solid advice.

She will be sadly missed.

Thankyou for all your thoughts , Mother will be cremated in Cambridge on the 19th . She wants a humanist service , and I have the honour of officiating, as the eldest child.

She really was a generous person , and raised A LOT of money for charity . She also saved a lot for the charities she worked for.

Some more background on her life , which was a bit sad , and caused her much heartbreak...
She was only 60 at her passing,and was 18 when I was born, my brother was born a year later ,then my Dad met someone else secretly(neither woman knew of the other) and kicked her out of the car at a tube station, after driving down from Doncaster and told her she would never see her kids again, and she did not until I was 21 and left home. I can only imagine the hell she went through , being intimidated every time she tried to make contact.
She went on to become a tax inspector for the Inland revenue , and then worked giving out lottery funding , before becoming a consultant to charities seeking funding.

Poor Fengirl . At least you and she were reunited again , thats the main thing.

So sorry to hear this news - fengirl was always here providing good advice with a cheery tone - she taught me a few things! She will be sorely missed - please accept my sincere condolences for your sad loss of your lovely mum!
