My OH buys the NOTW every week so I've already been able to claim my free gift. I now have a spare code from this week's paper if anyone wants it??

I went to my local Tesco today to be told that their delivery of the kits never arrived and no stores in Birmingham had any. They also said that last week they were only sent 20 kits (this is a major store). Quite disappointing considering this wasn't a total freebie - I don't buy the NOTW so made the effort to get the coupons which is essentially just wasted money now because they didn't send enough to go around. I wouldn't have minded as much if I missed it by being too late but to be told that despite being listed as taking part, they never had any sets at all, is disappointing

Got mine today from Tesco in Ely Cambs. Said they had two full boxes and that they were keeping them until Wed, so if you did not get yours today and the store have them you might get them later in the week.

I got right hassle trying to claim. I used a printed voucher from the notw/fabulous website, and one from the mag......... tesco lady at first said i couldn't collect my kit, so I explained that its NOT a photocopy, its an ORIGINAL and she just did not get it. She even grabbed a few previos customers magazine pages and said the words " look i dont care what that printout says in the magazine it says clearly no photocopies" but I found this insulting and rude. She went on to make comments saying she must be stupid to buy a paper when people like me think they can get it totally free (which by the way is possible and within rules if you registered as a free trial subscriber on notw site and printed your 2 tokens on different weeks!!)
she made me feel like a shop lifter!!! anyone else get this?
I wasn't leaving without this, as i'd phoned customer service in advance to check stock and travelled specially!!
