also try one of the sunday times money aunt / consumer defenders - they can sometimes get you compensation on top of publicing the balls up that NW have made0

I managed to get another mortgage offer from Halifax. Phew....
Re NW, they refunded the fees they have charged to date.
I had extremely stressful 2 weeks and now that it is sorted, I am not planning to do anything more on this.
But it is worth noting that CEO complaint route works! At least to get a quick response.
