Had an appointment this morning for someone from Hilarys to come round and measure up so that I can have some blinds made and fitted.
With an appointment time of between 9am-12pm, I sat around and nobody turned up. At 12.40pm i got fed up and left for work.
When i complained to customer services they tried to contact the guy who was supposed to be coming but his phone was off! There suggestion was for me to make another appointment!
As a self employed person, I can not afford to miss half a day's work, let alone another half day. Apparantly a team leader would call me back but as yet, nothing.
How do i play this now? What can i do?

I have had similar problems with hilary's. I think they are rubbish!!
I suggest buying from their sister company's website (https://www.webblinds.co.uk), where you will get exactly the same product, minus the fitter's commission.

Just to add another opinion. We had a guy come round and had 2 blinds fitted and I thought it was a great service. He was a bit early for the appointment though which nearly meant that he missed us but he was a pleasant guy and the blinds are very nice.Don't grow up. Its a trap!

Hilarys are utter crap. I specifically asked the salesman if they are glued or stiched - oh, absolutely definately stiched he replied. Lying sack of sh!te.
I am now on my second set because the glue keeps failing. These are going the same way to. I will get them stiched at my own cost now, as I have no faith in that company whatsoever.
In short, £2000 poorly spent. Avoid like the plague.0 -
