Can family help you out- Mum/Dad? Can you shop around for better deals to cut the costs? Take a long hard look at your budget, what could you do without if push came to shove, could you not borrow for the car now and leave that until later on next year?

Just had a thought, a lot of retail outlets are looking for christmas temps, maybe consider this over the short term, anything you make over this period might be able to help with funding!!

i work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week and cant the latest i can work is 8pm due to my buses to the country and with the higher tax it wouldnt be worth my while to be honest.

mum and dad cant help me out as they gave me a deposit few years back for my house. this budget is as close cut as we can make it. friend doing cake, dj and i making invitations got discount dress. one bridesmaid. its elaly the best we can do.

car can wait but now im worried our credit rating is so low i cant get a mobile phone, how am i even gonna get the 4000 we need?

If you have a loan already, and you have not missed a payment could you not ask to bump this up instead of taking out a new one? Obviously this depends on Apr etc...

i am fine with the weding budget. and have read the forum and am doing it cheap as i can so thanks for that.

have not missed payment on any of my loan but they wont top it up either!

just been rejected for a bloody mobile phone! dont know what im gonna do now.

Like previous poster said - contact the companies that you have applied to and ask their reasons. Stop applying for things. As mentioned all searches leave 'footprints' on your report - the next lender will see this and wonder why you have applied for credit with 3 people in quick succession and therefore decide you are a risk.

Find out why they are rejecting you by asking them to tell you.
