delivery rip off at argos

went into argos today to buy a new headboard after buying a new bed from them and was told it was delivery only.I said can it not be delivered to the shop and we would pick it up.Assistant said no it has to be delivered to your house and delivery was £4.95.Husband told them to forget it and we went to local furniture store and payed an extra £4.00 for better quality one and no home delivery ,just take home.so argos missed out we didn't have to wait two days for delivery and am very pleased with it.so it does pay to shop around.
