E Bay Access So Slow

Hi,

I am with Virgin Broadband and access the intenet via a PC running XP Home internet explorer version 6. I also run Zone Alarm and AVG Free version. All these programs are running with the latest updates. My surfing and downloading speeds are as they have always been, but during the last month when accessing E Bay and logging onto my account, once logged in it takes about 3 minutes to move from one page to another. This only happens once logged into my e bay if i am not logged in the navigation throughout E Bay is as you would expect.

As far as I am aware I have not changed any settings on my PC that might have affected this, unless any recent windows or , Zone Alarm or AVG updates have changed any settings.

If I log onto my E Bay account from another PC everything runs normally. This is obviously a pain when buying or selling on E Bay. It does not seenm to happen when logged in to other sites ie MSE, My Bank etc.

Please can anyone help with advice on how I can make this return to normal.

Thanks in advance

Rinkrat

Have you tried deleting your temp internet files, cookies. Wonder if your being tracked and its dragging you down. If you use another pc and everything is ok it might be worth giving the above a go.....I use ADAWARE...note not ADWARE to get rid of any trackers
:confused:I have nothing better to do!!!!

or try firefox, internet explorer does tend to get bogged down with ebay, firefox is an alternative browser, easy to download free and use, and faster with ebay.

Tried clearing all cookies temp internet files to no avail. My E Bay still a waste of effort. Just downloaded Firefox and guess what ! Works greta on E Bay even when logged in ! Thanks for the advice ! Now just got to teach the other half how to use the new browser ! That could be the most difficult bit !!!!
