What, based on the fact that you and your friends have bought?

There are no "priced out" generations.

There are plenty of people prevented from owning by mortgage rationing though....;)

I don't see that arguement, I wouldn't class myself as priced out and the mortgage 'rationing' is just a delay and not a block. Without mortgage 'rationing' every one will be able to buy and prices will rocket and more will be priced out.

This 'rationing' is more a return of sense and I support it fully, if it had been done from the start we wouldn't have the over inflated prices we have today.

Partly. Or has no-one else in their late 20's bought recently?
  • Is it that most Britons can't afford . . . . . anything, let alone housing. Yes right that's something to celebrate, not.

every generation has 'priced out' generations.
every generation has people that miss the proverbial boat
every generation has people that screw themselves up financially that prevents them being able to buy

it's up to each individual to do something about it not blame everyone else instead of themselves.

I think the same can be said for those "hard working families" who will loose their home this year.

Should they stop moaning and blaming everyone else?

This is completely true and I can't argue with it.

But with that as I have pointed out before the goal posts have moved. There is situations where the generation before may stuggle to buy a house, but if i was in the same position it would be impossible.

As I say I have done everything about it and I am in a strong position and will be buying in the not too distant future, but this doesn't mean I am going to say 'I'm alright Jack' and celerbrate the rest of my generation having to work harder for less.
