Credit Checked illegally- car insurance used moneysavingexpert link 12 months ago!!

my wife and i have credit expert as i was identity defrauded in october..

had a few alerts lately aa insurance and priveledge.... states credit search done 30/12/2010 for both.... i did not call for a quote or did online... called priviledge who said was quote done via this site.... moneysavingexpert....

they advised me it was a honda jazz..... i did get quotes over a year ago for this car via the site and link..


why can companies do searches without my permission? to send unwanted/ not requested quotes


im raging..

do these affect credit score...... ????

So many companies harvest and keep information nowadays, and use it to harrass people.

They claim that it doesn't affect your credit score, but that isn't true, as a friend found to her cost. Write to the company Data Protection Officer asking to be removed from their database. If they don't comply, complain to ICO.

Aa insurance services and prvilege are the 2 companies. Maybe they never came up on your comparison quotes !!!!!
