Robv - we've missed one out (which fortunately I haven't been caught out by yet) The thermostatic valve are longer than the existing valves and don't line up with the 15mm pipe :eek: . You might get away with microbore but with 15mm you end up with piping up an offset piece.
I think robv's price is much nearer what you'd expect to have to pay.A house isn't a home without a cat.

Thanks for the info, the wifes friends boyfriend is a plumber so hopefully will get it done on the cheap as he does a bit of moonlighting at the weekends for cash
