Good morning All!
Well, the sun is shining and the sky is blue - always makes me feel more :j! (but also makes me long to sit in the beer garden with a nice chilled white wine or cider!!)
It's that time of week again! PAYDAY!!! Yay! Did a couple of hours overtime last Sat, so there a few more pennies than usual! Handy as I had to pay the CC this week. How does it build up so quickly to soo much?
So an update in list form.....- £100 paid to OH!!
- Money is generally where it should be doing what it should.
- Friends birthday meal to go to this Sunday - YUMMY!
- Usual Sat working tomorrow
.
- £80-00 from EDF for changing via Q.co is now showing as received so hope to get that over to the 'house account' soonish.
- Still doing daily clicks on Q.co to make up for the £5 membership they are going to take from my payment.
- Still need to speak to Virgin about reducing tariff.
- Birthday dinner next Sat.
- Went for a wander around town last Sunday - set myself a budget of £20...... and spent £0.00. Just nothing I liked!
Right, I had better get on with some work! Work is busy, busy, busy at the mo and it is eating into my MSE time!!

Hi Nats,
Wow from next Friday you'll be in the 150's.... now even if this doesn't excite you it strangely excites me :dance:
Enjoy friends birthday meal today.... I'm off for a gym induction at 14:30 and supposedly working between now and then :whistle:

Hi All!
Thanks for the enthusiasm OBNW, but as I am now in the swing of repaying OH each week and it comes straight from my account (and always before I get to check it on payday) it's like it's deducted at source; like tax (grrrrr) or my student loan (grrrr again!) But, I suppose getting to the 150's is an achievement and I should have a mini celebration.
Nothing to report really apart from the following.....- Received a letter on Sat from Mr S.berries pre-approving me for a credit card - not had one of those for a while so maybe I am looking more favourable for credit.... NOT that I want it thank you ver muchly!
- Did anyone watch the first of the Comic Relief programs following the celebs in the slums in Africa? It was really interesting (and I need to iplayer the second one) - the most poignant moment was when Lenny Henry asked the father of the family he was 'living' with why he always smiled although he had nothing (really - nothing!)? And the father replied it was so that he could give his children hope. Hope for better things for them. He, himself had no hope left, but didn't want to take it away from his children. Cue tears!!!

Good morning All!
Not sure what it is - but I feel more settled if I write on here more often! Even if I have nothing to write! lol
So, my ramblings for today =- Q.co have confirmed they have sent (are sending) £77.29 to me.... so thats £75 for the house account and £2.29 for me! Well, why not!!!!
- Forgot to say that I didn't go out for friends lunch on Sunday - so that was a few pennies saved.... really rather gutted though as it was at my favourite mexican restaurant
But I was still coughing and spluttering and was soooo bunged up I couldn't have tasted a thing - now that would have been a waste of food. Nevermind, will rearrange to do lunch in April and I still have a Chinese meal out to look forward to this Sat (long day Sat - hopefully not working, then out to watch the Rugby and then ont he the restaurant from there!)
- Off to the gym tonight - would usually be AA, but one of 'the girls' can't make it so we are hitting the gym for a change! Cue aches tomorrow followed by circuits!
- Have added a little calculation to my spreadsheet for the 'House Account' and this shows that we are currently overpaying by approx £80 a month (depending on fluctuating bills like Virgin that I still need to sort out!). It shows that August will be the first whole month in credit!! I plan to keep paying the same amount in until the end of the year and then maybe reduce the monthly amount we both pay in - although OH would like a 'review' in the next couple of months, so we will see!
- Still waiting for notification for this years council tax amount - rumour has it that it should be the same as last year... hmm, we will see - but April isn't that far away now really.
- Census form landed on my doormat yesterday - something to do whilst recovering for the hangover pencilled in for Sunday!

well done for interest - i keep getting all giddy seeing interest on mine even though it's only pennies.
I'm also waiting to hear about the council tax, they should have set it by now as the deadline as the 22nd Feb i think, and i know that most elements won't be increasing. just waiting for the final bill, i'm sure we've usually had it by now.0 -

lol - I remember the first time I went - I wrote something on FB along the lines of "is so proud of her achievements at her first AA session she is going to reward herself with a nice glass of chilled white wine!" It amused me anyway!!!
LT - I def agree on the council tax - I think last year we knew in Feb!!! Maybe I will be as slack in paying them!! Well done on the interest!! Actually earning pennies in interest is a treat for me - it gives me a nice warm feeling inside!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
