I think when i do eventually buy i'll be looking at buying a 2 bed apartment, at around £120,000. Obviously i'll have a deposit but i was just wondering for those who live in similar properties how much are your outgoings per month? Mortgage, council tax (would be living with partner) bills etc?
Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

A £120k repayment mortgage, at 6% over 25 years would be £773/month http://www.tigertom.co.uk/ttcalc/mortgage.php?loan=120000&downpayment_percent=0&year=25&interest_rate=6¤cy=%A3&amortization=on&periodicity=12&action=Calculate
Council tax you can find out specifically by looking it up online for a specific address/flat, or, you can simply look up the Council Tax Bands on your local authority website, or even using upmystreet.com - guessing I'd say £100-130/month.
Bills: Gas, water, electricity = £50-80/month. TV License £12. Broadband/phone £20-30. Contents insurance £10-20. So £92-£152/month.
So that's £1000-1100/month.0 -
Is it a conversion or in a block of flats as "maintenance" may have to be paid oh and don't buy somewhere with a lift.0

PaturesNew, hoping to put at least a 10% deposit down, around 10-15k, so hopefully would ideally like to get a mortgage for around £650-£700 per month.
Diable, no wouldn't buy somewhere with a lift.0 -

The largest cost on my 2 bed flat (apart from rent) is maintenance of around £200 a month. This includes a lift, gardener, electronic gates, etc.
Luckily my landlord pays.0 -
