Please help me

I don't want to lose my car.

And I don't have enough money in my account to pay it this month. I need around £750 to cover my outgoings for the rest of the month.

The bank won't increase my o/d, I'm thinking a payday loan is the only answer but I really don't want to. I've been refused loans.

Please, I am desperate.

Why not cut back on other outgoings?

Are they higher priority? than losing your car + trashed crediit record?

eat baked beans on toast for the month?

You really haven't given us enough information.

How much do you earn? How much do you owe on your car? What would the £750 be spent on? What other debts do you have and what's your credit rating like? Why have you been refused?

I suspect you would be better off going onto the debt-free board and posting a statement of account - SOA - to try to get your spending under control, rather than trying for loans which won't help in the long run.

First you need to figure out where your money is going.

I heard there's good money to be made down the docks.

A Payday Loan might get you through this Month, but what about next Month??

You will still have the same outgoings but on top of that, a £750 Payday loan this month will require about £850 as well.

Can you afford another £850 next Month on top of your current outgoings??
  • I know about SoAs etc, but that's not going to help immediately. And I am looking at that.

If you know all about SoAs etc, why are you £750.00 short.

Anything that has got you into this mess has taken more than a couple of months to build up. So you really can't expect to be able to fix your problem by finding some kind of magic loan which in reality doesn't exist. You say you don't want to do a payday loan (and I agree) but what DO you want? A nice bank loan at a really good rate just isn't going to be available to you.

And you still haven't told us anything about your circumstances, except that you have a car which you probably will lose.

Because sometimes life isn't black and white.

I'll go back to the DFW board, they aren't pompous and unhelpful :money:

    Happy new year.
