Distinctive ring/second number/call sign service on BT?

Hi, Does anyone know whether BT have a service for a seperate number on their lines? I believe they used to use one called call sign where you would be assigned a second number to give to the kids or to the fax machine etc but I can't find any mention of this still existing.

Anyone know if they still do anything like this and if so how much it costs?

Using a fax machine will be prone to problems, not many have an effective Call Sign selector, and you have to use a plug in adaptor, and with some models this causes havoc (with the fax

I have received a reply at last:

I can advise that we still offer Call Sign and it costs £8.10 per quarter including VAT as a stand alone calling feature. Sorry about the problems locating this on the website, I'll get this fed back.

Buzby the fax has quite a good distinctive ring selector on it (From what I can see) but I'm not too concerned with it always picking up to be honest, I'd be happy to listen to the different ring myself and press 'recieve' when I know it's a fact. At the moment it's a bit of a lottery as to whether its a fax or a phone call.
