Is it worth changing to an online tariff for British Gas?

Is it right that you cannot have any online only tariff from BG if you don't want to pay by Direct debit.. I like paying my bills when i get them in.0

Most of (but not all) the cheapest tariffs are DD only-that's not exclusive to BG.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Well, i'll have to do something, as i'm on the standard tariff and pay my bill every quarter so going to have to get an online deal. I read my meter's anyways, coz BG hardly ever come out to do them. Getting gas/elec at 6% cheaper has got to spur me on.0

You can do a lot better discount than that with an online tariff with DD, plus factor in the cashback. No free lunch, and no free laptop
