    Think what we have is fine was juts havign bad day yesterday!!

  • it only makes it harder to change the appliance if you don't really know what you are doing

    Your quite right its still very very simple to change but the home appliance delivery people probably wont install the appliance if they need to make a hardwired connection. For example I have orded a fridge freezer and the company delivering it offer to connect any appliance for an extra £10 but its in their terms and conditons that they won't work on any fixed gas, electric or water services. What they do with a fixed oven and hob unit I don't know!

    Someone like my mum would have a problem getting it changed in future as they would need to get some one in to make the connection.
    I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling ;)

    Well if you getting new appliances a lot of manufactures will have no removing plugs policy. B&Q fitting is very expensive.
