New TV set up / ariel problems advice needed

I have just bought a SONY Bravia 40" LCD.
I am having problems with the set up. I have aTV in the kitchen with a separate FREEVIEW box, it is fed off the ariel in the living room so I can switch between sky and freeview.

I have a TV in the bedroom which is also feeding off the living room.

In the living room I have a COMPACT ARIEL AMPLIFIER (SLX4CF).

The problem is I can get the new TV set up to receive freeview and SKY but if I take the main ariel out the SKY box then the TV in the kitchen or bedroom will not work.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

How did you have it set up before you bought the new TV?

I presume that the kithcen and bedroom TV are being fed from the RF2 socket on the Sky box? Connect the new TV to the RF1 connection on the Sky box.

So aerial to Sky box RF in. Sky RF1 to new TV. Sky RF2 to SLX4CF and SLX4CF to bedroom and kitchen TVs.

If that doesn't work, aerial to Sky box RF in, then Sky RF2 to SLX, then SLX to new TV, kitchen TV and bedroom TV.

Roof aerial should be connected to RF in on your Sky box, RF1 out to your new TV, RF2 out feeds your distribution amplifier going wherever.

But I think you have been told that already.

PS Soap powder does not make for a good TV aerial.:D
That gum you like is coming back in style.
