Tesco Clubcard Abroad?

Hi all,
I am thinking of applying for the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card and wonder if I can use this card abroad for purchases etc., (Also booking flights)
Cant find the answer anywher here and wonder if anyone can confirm for me.
Also anyone happy/unhappy with this card?

You can use it overseas.
You would earn points for purchases overseas.
But the way they calculate exchange rates and apply fees is very uncompetitive.
Look at Halifax Clarity or Santander Zero for a card to use overseas.0 -
Tesco card is just like any other high street card - you will be able to purchase what ever you want with it, as long as the merchants accepts credit cards. So no problem with flights.
I have had Tesco card for ages and never had a problem.
However as mentioned it is not the best card for using it abroad as it's charges for overseas purchases are uncompetitive and it's exchange rate also... there are many cards out there that are very uncompetitive, that is fairly normal, so if you travel abroad a lot it is worth it to get card suitable for that instead or as a second card.
Halifax Clarity as mentioned for example.0
