I am still paying off an old barclaycard from 1985, I pay an amount every month and went to the CAB regarding this, recently I asked for my original agreement and they cannot find it, I still owe just over £1000 and the interest has been stopped, what should I do?

What do you want to do? Do you dispute the amount owed? Do you dispute whether you have to continue paying because neither you nor they can find the original agreement? Do you think it might have 'timed out' because it is so old? (AIUI the answer to this last one is "No" because you have been making payments recently.)
Why has the interest been stopped, seems good of them to do this?loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -

Yep, not much you can do here as the payments have not made the SB clock tick."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

I went to the CAB and they asked them to stop the interest, so I only pay on what the debt was left with.0 -
I don't really understand the motive behind your question.
Barclaycard gave you a credit card in good faith, which you held for a long time, you used it, came into a period of financial hardship (I presume) which resulted in Barclaycard, again in good faith, suspending the interest, to help you continue paying the debt.
So... continue paying the debt?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
