Xsara Picasso starting issue
Got home from first day back at work to discover missus went to work on the bus as her car would not start. It was turning over but not catching
I get home in the dark and my dad comes round sprays random engine parts with WD40 but still no luck. It was turning over but jsut not there
Left it ten minutes then came out and it flutters into life just, so on the accelerator quick to keep it going, then ten minutes playing on my phone. Turned off and back on, toook it for a run round no issues, started fine when i tried this morning
What was the most likely cause of the non starting in the first place? it had been used over christmas, but stood for a week without being touched until yesterday

no idea, what would the symptoms be?0

If it's the Coil Pack, you'll more often than not have a missfire and it'll start but run very rough. Did you have any warning lights illuminated once it started? If it runs okay now without anything untoward that you have noticed, I'd say it's more than likely an intermittant sensor fault.no idea, what would the symptoms be?
You could have it plugged in to a Diagnostics machine at a garage and see if it throws up any fault codes if you're still worried about it.0 -
There are some excellent Citroen forums out there, it would be much better to join up and post this there.Pants0
