Will I be entitled to JSA if hubby owns a property?

I was fired a week before Christmas.
I find out if I am entitled to JSA on 10th Jan.
My husband works f/time and also owns a property elsewhere. He currently rents with me.
He still has to pay mortgage on his property (which is the ex-marital home).
Background: his ex-wife abducted his child at 3months old. Took child halfway across the country. Husband followed his little boy here. Met me, married me. Still has ex-marital home as a result. Can't flog it as there is negative equity. So stuck basically....
Will this mean that I am not entitled to JSA??

As I have found out, having been made redundant just before Christmas, there are two types of JSA - one based on your NI contributions (currently the years ending April 2009 and April 2010) and income based JSA - if you OH is working you probably won't get income based, but if you worked enough during the two years, you may get Contributions based JSA of £65.45 a weekPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
