Is there a lead running from the soundcard to the TV?0
-
no,what type of lead is needed?0
-
a lead that goes from the sound card 3.5mm jack to somesort of input on your televisualbox
you may not have an input in which case you will have to get some speakers for the PC0 -
What cable have you used to connect?
if its an ordinary VGA PC monitor cable it only has video and you'll need a separate sound cable.
if its HDMI it can carry sound and might need some fiddling with on your PC end (or use a separate cable)
cable options for sound are basically 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio (from £2) or optical (£8?+) depending on available suitable INPUTS (not outputs!) at your tv or nearby sound system or speakers.
It gets complicated if you have an odd brand of TV as some, if they are on HDMI, expect sound to come only from HDMI inputs and mute all other inputs... thats when it gets more complicated0
