vent in bedroom was boarded up

Our house (built 1907) has chimney breasts - now blocked up - but no air bricks upstairs.
We are going to fit them as one bedroom does get a lot of condensation.
I don't know why there aren't any as there are some downstairs.

we have a chimney breast at the other side of the house which is used downstairs and the upstairs is now blocked up, which is a different room

i can't see what else the vent would be needed for, it is also in a stupid position.

not sure what i should do as i will be putting plasterboard and plaster on this wall and if it is blocked up there is no doing back, unless i cater for the vent and block it up from the inside past the plasterboard so it isn't permanent just in case there are problems down the line

however it would be the perfect opportunity to block it up properly now.

wooden square to cover the outer hole (from the inside), fill with either expanding foam (messy) or loft insulation, then another square of wood. Plaster over, job done.
