Outlook Express Link Problem

My Daughter has been home from Uni and uses Internet Explorer. I always use Google.
Now when I try to open a link on any message, a
message appears saying Internet Explorer cannot open the web page.
Can anyone explain why this has happened and how to put it right?

Do you mean that you use Google Chrome as your default web browser?
Google is a search engine, not a browser.

Still cannot open links on Emails in Outlook Express. I use Firefox and deleted Google Chrome but message above appears.

Make Firefox the default browser on your system. Firefox, Tools, Options, Advanced Tab, Tick to box "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on start up". Click on the "Check now" button.

No, Chrome is another web browser. That's why it has it's own icon on your desktop (or it did until you deleted it).
