How much should I expect to pay in Bills?

I am planning to move (not willingly!!!!) from my beautiful current flat to a new rental property. My current situation is all bills included, from television license to water rates etc. All of the new places seem to be coming in around £400pcm with NONE of the bills in. I wonder if anyone could give me an idea of what they pay for the following:

Electricity

Water

Gas

TV

Council Tax

Broadband

This would be based on me living alone. I am a FULL TIME student, but I also have a job and bring in a fixed £236 per week. Could anybody give me an idea as this is all very new to me and I dont want to get in over my head!!! Any advice welcomed!!!

Thanks :)

For our one bedroomed flat we pay:

Electricity - approx £15 per week
Gas same (these are both based on someone being in the flat everyday though so if your out yours will be cheaper)
    Water - £35 a month over 8 months
    TV - £12 per month
Council tax - £85 (if living alone you would get 25% discount)
Broadband - approx £20 (virgin media - you can get this cheaper elsewhere)

Dont forget house contents insurance, thats the only other thing I pay that you haven't mentioned :)
Sometimes you have to go through
the rain to get to the

You would get council tax exemption being a full time student.

I pay £54 per month for gas+elec for a medium sized detached, but it is very efficient. Is it a new flat, old etc?

By exception, you're inferring that I would pay nothing at all?

I have no idea at present as I only got my eviction notice served today, my landlord wants the flat back for an employee. Most of the flats I have looked at this afternoon are pretty old and are located above old shops or in large stone buildings.

Correct. I believe you will have to fill in an exception form:

Edit: Sorry I meant exemption... lol

Ball park figure, including council tax, for a single person, living alone, budget for £200-250/month. If you start by shovelling £250 into a bills account, then see how you're doing after a year.

Bills you might pay would be:
    Council tax (not for students)

    Gas
    Water
    Electricity
    Landline
    Broadband
    TV License
    Contents Insurance

In my last place (a studio), I was paying £120/month for the bills except council tax.

In some areas you might get "deals", e.g. if there's cable TV in an area and you can get broadband/phone in one, but I've never been in such places.
