rhodium plating

Does anyone know where I can get our white gold rings rhodium plated?

We got them in 2002 and they are looking slightly tarnished.

We have been quoted £25 per ring so far which for 4 rings seems steep

Thanks

That's cheap my engagement ring is white gold and asked the company where we bought it from how much it would be and it was £35.

I think £25/ring is the going rate from what I've heard. Do you still use or have access to the jeweler who you bought the rings from because they may offer free/discounted rhodium plating? Mine have been done once for free but then it hasn't been quite as long since mine were bought. I will be following this thread with interest because its a cost that I wasn't aware of before I (well DH) bought white gold.
  • We need to get our wedding rings done but haven't gotten around to getting a quote, will have to start looking.

Blimey, we got married 30 years ago and thinking it's about time we got ours re-plated for the first time!

    BTW Goldsmiths charge £37 IIRC.
