There are answers out there, and you need to convert the file to Divx (probably or Xvid) sorry to be vague , but trying to watch TV .. . I will look again later unless a Video expert comes along later
it all seems to depend on the "Envelope" that gets wrapped around the file. Do you have a manual ? and what does it say anything(unlikely I know) about which formats it accepts.

    Hi
Probably the codecs used (inside the AVI file) by your Samsung phone are not recognized by the Toshiba player.

Try converting it to XviD/mp3 in AVI using a converter such as Winff.
    Here:- http://winff.org/html_new/

    Choose:-
    Convert to ... AVI
Device Preset ... XviD Fullscreen or XviD Widescreen

Worth a try you young Bat;) I guess it may be a problem with the fact that DVD player thinks the USB stick copy is a region other than UK but am clutching at straws.

Whatever happened to GATT / EU law ...... I paid local taxes + possible import duties and therefore don't stop me playing it ?
