Celebrating - the insurance paid up!!!!

To give a brief recap of the saga of mutt's foot, after her toe amputation the bill had hit the £1000 mark when I realised there was an exclusion on all foot conditions. I phoned Petplan who again reminded me of the exclusion but said send the claim in anyway and they'd consider it.

My very nice vet did the letter to go with it saying there was no relation between the current and previous conditions, but neither of us held out much hope.

And the cheque arrived in this morning's post. And I can finally get round to having my bathroom tiled.:D

On the slight downside, 11 weeks after the op and nearly a month after the vet said he couldn't see any reason that she was still chewing her foot, the little begger is still buster collared and nibbling away. So there'll be more continuation claims going in.

that's great news... Petplan, although expensive seem to have a good reputation from my vets for paying up 'if the vet writes the right thing'... which I am never moaning about!
