Insurance companies won't quote??

Hi,

I am trying to get quotes for my car insurance that is up next month but am finding some companies are refusing to give me a quote when I have never had a problem before. I have changed my car in the last year but only to a 1.4 Fiesta, could this be a reason??

Thanks for your help in advance.

:)

A bigger engine could be an issue.

Try comparing the meerkat etc rather than trawling through individual companies.

Then you can get a clearer indication of likely price range and which companies to avoid.

What is your age and first part of your postcode.

It could be to do with the postcode address where the car is normally kept. If Insurers have bad experience of the area, they might not want to quote. I doubt it would be anything to do with the car being a 1.4 Fiesta.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

Insurers have become less tolerant of higher risk areas and higher risk individuals recently. Are you in a higher risk area or have higher risk issues?
