Boxes of Christmas Cards-99p in WHSmith

I have just come back from WHSmith, where they have priced all their boxed Christmas cards at 99p. Got about £30s worth of handcrafted cards for £4.95
Edit: This was in the Lowestoft branch of WHSmith-the cards weren't individually priced, but there were notices on all the shelves saying all boxed cards were 99p.
Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:
The deal's on nationwide (though it started at different dates in different stores), and an end date hasn't been confirmed though it's expected to be while stocks last so hurry. Thanks to gemmacarolyn for the tip.

Hi there
I also went to my local branch of WH Smiths on the way home but the boxes of cards there were still just half price. .....although I did not ask for this to be checked at the till. I thought I would wait until reduced further!
I was at Forest Hill.0 -
I got some lovely cards reduced to 87p in Tesco for a box of 30 and 37p for 24 in a box of the smaller square cards that are good for children to send.
I bought mine with my online order that comes from a central warehouse that isn't open to the public. They seem to sell the same as the stores though, so if anyone misses out onthe WH Smiths cards try Tesco's as well. I also bought Christmas crackers for £1.25 for a box of 12.0 -
Was there any wrapping paper in smiths please? I really like theirs as it is a good thickness plus it has grid lines printed on the inside which makes cutting very neat and simple.“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0

I did the same. Looked at the signs - all saying half price but didn't check at the till. There were loads of beautiful ones left in my local so have my fingers crossed that they go to 99p!0 -
I'll be back there tomorrow getting them price checked at the till this time!
I didn't see any wrapping paper at Forest Hill but will check when I go in tomorrow if it is near to you.0 -
Popped into Whsmith today and signs indicated xmas cards still half marked price. Hope 99p reduction is nationwide as they have some lovely designs. Lots of gift wrap & xmas stock in general left in my local store.0

Thank you! Went to another Whsmith today and this one had signs up showing all boxed xmas cards now 99p. Plenty of choice left and noticed some designs were originally £6.99 a box so great savings to be had.0

I went back to Forest Hill branch this morning and only half price but on the way home it had all changed to 99p per box. I got what I needed but a lot of the better boxes had gone
I would advise anyone to get them price checked at the till even if not showing 99p signs on the shelf....as think they will go through as 99 pence once scanned.
Other decs and paper were only (!) reduced by half.0
