Can anyone advise please, non techie here
I am using Download Manager, in the settings it has "optimization master" to select your connection type.
I don't know which to choose, all I know is I have adsl broadband, and the wireless modem details, but no details as to what type of modem it is.
How/where do I find out please?
It lists dsl/modem, lan, modem and IDSL

Just checked sorry, it says dsl/cable, I don't have cable.
Also different ones:-
Modems... 14.4K ; 28.8k; 33.6K; 56 k
112K dual isdn
10/100M lan
and other settings for dsl/cable
Not a clue what to do.

They are all listed as connection type.
Yes I have ADSL broadband.0 -
If you connect through a router, then you select 10/100M LAN. (Last in list)
Never had a problem here with that setting.Move along, nothing to see.0
