My daughter is in the army, and in 6 months wil lbe posted to afganistan, so needs b/down cover till she goes,what are the cheapest polices please

Not many do 6 months ,but their is some cheap 12 months ones out their . Look at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/roadside-recovery

also if you look on moneysupermarket.com you can compare. All depends on what cover you want.

If you buy a year and suspend after 6 months I don't think that you ca be reimbursed but RAC used to be willing to give credit when you need again i.e. when she returns to the UK. Might be worthwhile investigating. I have that with the RAC from the time I bought a car which included cover I already had.

We were due to be posted to Germany in April, so took out breakdown cover through Asda who said we could cancel after 6 months. We pay £6.16/month.
