Balance transfer question

Hi i was accepted for the new barclaycard platinum on 20th december to transfer 3 credit cards. One of the cc was virgin and the balance transfer has completed on that already however i am still waiting on the other 2 both of which are capital one to clear. All 3 balance transfers are showing on my barclaycard online account so im thinkin its capital one that are dragging their heels updating my account:(. Anyone have experience of this and if so how long did it eventually take for capital one to complete. Thanks

I recently did a transfer from my Halifax CC to Barclaycard. I have online access and the balance was present on my Barclaycard account the next day but it took an extra 5 working days for the amount to disappear from the Halifax card.

I'd say just bear with them at the moment as there haven't been that many banking (working) days over the xmas period, but just remember to make any payments that may be due on your old cards until you are sure that the transfer has taken place.

Thanks for the reply bobby. I will give it to the end of the week and then maybe ring them if nothing shows on the capital one accounts by then. I did make a payment to one on the 3rd but i had anticipated that and hadnt included that amount in the balance transfer so not to have capital one actually owing me money. Its just a pain having to wait but as you said christmas and new year have affected the time scale. Thanks again
