Ignore list issues

I'm trying to add someone to my ignore list. It isn't a feature I have used before. When I try and add them even though their correct username is found it says they don't exist in the database! They are listed as a member in the member list too.
Can someone look into this as they are very tiresome!

I suspect the issue is with usernames with capital letters. Instead of entering the username manually, if you were to go to their profile, click on user lists under the name, it falls down and gives you the option to stick the individual on ignore. That should work fine.0

Ah. That worked fine. Thanks
