Changes to e bay feedback

Hi I am coming back to e bay after a little while away, and there seem to be soem changes.
Can sellers leave feedback for buyers now.? i was surprised to find a + on my scores when I logged back on from a new seller who had ttold me lies about when he had posted an item.

Also, I have a few bidders on things but quite a lot seem to be private now - many more than before - has something changed here?

Sellers have always been able to leave feedback for buyers, otherwise no buyer would ever have any feedback score! The only changes have been that sellers can now only leave a positive.

AA for private bidders, do you mean that their feedback is private?

Yep you could also previously leave a response. However you cannot leave a negative.
So basically if the buyer has been horrid, no only can you NOT do anythign about it. You can not even say anything about it.
What makes the whole Ebay system Buyer centric, and gives the bad Buyers chance to intimidate / push around sellers.

That's nonsense. Depending on your definition of 'horrid' of course. Any buyer being abusive can be reported and Ebay will do something about it. Any non payers can have strikes against them. I'm not really sure what else a buyer can do that's 'horrid' that Ebay wouldn't do anything about if reported.

Any selling avenue should favour the buyer over the seller otherwise they would get fewer and fewer customers.
