Help! orlando, Florida villa and flights for 8 people!

me and my family are going on one last family holiday, we all to go to different places, so mum and dad have said if we all make a presentation we will have a vote and see who wins. mum has said she would go to america if i make it as good value as the others, so this is my misson! the cheapest i have found is £450 pp (including flights) for 10 days in a disney hotel, however a villa is much preferred, i have found several good value villas but only finding cheap flights within a package holiday any help on finding a villa and flights holiday for as a cheap as possible would be much appreciated it can be anything between 7 - 14 days and ideally close to a beach.. thanks for all the help

When would you be wanting to go -= that will make a huge difference to the cost. I have booked our holiday with a villa, car-hire and flights all separately. Go to https://www.orlandovillas.com where you can get fab deals on a villa and if you click on the car-hire link at the top you can get an idea of prices for that too - very reasonable we have found. If you don't mind changing flights en-route, that will reduce costs also, but has the added hassle factor - American Airlines are competitive.

Where did you find the disney hotel deal please? It sounds like a good deal.

Do you want to be near Disney or near a beach? Not possible to have both (as Orlando is in Central Florida, ie nowhere near the coast).

There is a massive thread at the top of this forum about Orlando / Florida. The first post there would answer most of your questions.

We normally book separately for flights villa and car and it's normally cheaper. However we are in NI so packages may be cheaper if you're on mainland. We stay at http://www.nextdoortomickey.com/ sleeps 8 and has full kitchen. You would def need a car though as it's in Kissimmee.
I don't know if you'll find cheaper than you have already, our flights are normally around £400.

If you are thinking of Florida don't forget to factor in the cost of spending money; unless you intend to avoid all the theme parks etc. you will be looking at a considerable sum for 8 people.

Hi, you may find you are better off booking a package deal for the flights and then find your own accomadation. I have booked a package for the summer and have saved at least a grand on august separate flight prices- i did book this in september though for 4 adults (3 of those arereally kids-but not to the travel world:mad:) and 3 year old. I still have a villa to sort out-cannot make my mind up which to go with and will use US Rentacar for the car hire. Good luck with your search.
