If your pay/wage slip says, or you can prove that, you are an engineer of somesort you can get a Halfords trade card with savings of up to 33%!! I went in and told them that I was an aircraft enginner (with a pay slip as proof) and that I often buy and use Halfords tools for work! This card can only be used on 'car maintenance' equipment (eg, oils/fluids, tools, filters, wiper blades, bulbs etc). As an example, a halfords headlight bulb for my van is around £10.50, with the trade card it cost around £3!!!

If you can prove that you use tools (spanners, sockets, screwdrivers etc) for work you should be in with a good chance ;)

Apologise if this information is common knowledeg!

Let us know how you get on if you apply for this card

theres a thread on here already about the trade card. we usually put any recent items we've bought up on it so we can all see whats worthwhile and whats not.

i'll try and dig it out.

    here it is here.

feel free to copy and paste the last post with prices and add your own bargains with the card.

not everything is. thats the whole point in the other thread,so we can see what is worthwhile buying from there.
also the fact that they are open on sundays and late some nights of the weeks helps folk out too. me included.

oh and they're tools are great aswell. much cheaper than snap on,even without trade card. and generally a very high quality from thier advanced/pro range.
