Anyone hired maternity evening wear?

I've got a wedding at the end of February for which I will be 33 weeks pregnant. I'm matron of honour, and the bride would like me to colour match with the bridesmaids if I can (they're wearing a deep ruby red).
I have found several options I could buy, but have stumbled accross a website or 2 where I could hire a nicer dress for less money. I have no idea how reliable these sites are and am wondering if anyone has experience of them and which ones are good?
Many thanks,
j.

what are the websites called?
i would think it might be worth a visit to a local bridal shop to see if they have any contacts in this area too. hired my bridesmaid dresses and because I was the first bride to want that style in a certain colour i did have to pay slightly more, but they ordered them to fit and just adjusted the hem as needed. they may already have something in stock that would suit you and the wedding and could be altered slightly to fit? that way you would get to try it on first as well.
or perhaps if you have any friends that are good with a sewing machine they could make/adjust/customise something perfectly made for you??

I saw this in a magazine today would this be a more cost effective solution (if it doesn't take you to the page its pg 96 -97)
Don't know if Mothercare stores still have stock of it though in burgundy - I can only see grey on the website.2014 Target;

That's a very clever website!
I actually already have seen that dress, and it's really pink - much more than in that picture. Thankyou though! (I love these forums)Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o

A bit of a different take on what to wear, but it could be worth looking at the NEXT clearance stores if you have one nearby. As a larger lady I have struggled to get anything maternity at a reasonable prices.
However at Next clearance I managed to fit out a reasonable maternity wardrobe for £20 (5 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of work trousers). I don't know what the dresses are like but I guess prices will be similar though don't know if there will be anything suitable for a matron of honour.

when i got married the shop also hired out dresses and she was happy to alter them to suit each person. so maybe try the wedding shop. i can't remember cost but i think it was around £100, but when dresses were returned you got £50 back.0
