    Oh dear just bought one from Argos. I had a £10.00 voucher from a promotion to use by last Monday. The Fellows was reduced from £50.00 to £20.00.

    Have used it quite a bit- so far so good.

    What are the advantages of a criss-cross one? Is it just that some 'would be identification criminal' would be able to piece together the shredded document??? I've been putting stuff into mine sideways on, or at an angle-I'm sure that sufficient??

    I stick my stuff in the shredder at work?! Costs nothing;)

    Off topic though, have you seen the draper manual wind shredders,there's a little warning picture of 'no ties' on the top.


    This has been tested, trying to shed a tie WILL knacker your shredder!!!!
