Asda crosscut shredder

Today in my local Asda, the aurora cross cut security level 3 shredder, was £13.86! Sounds like great value to me and works great.

I mean it was £13.86! But maybe not such a good deal as it has just packed up on me after 1/2 an hour!

Just read manual and if it gets hot it shuts down for a while, so probably needs a rest!

i had an asda one and took it back as it did the same as yours but never restarted....mine however lasted 5 mins!!!

I then bought a fellows one.....but it jammed and you coulnt clear it....was 50.00 reduced to 35.00 in a sale...much better but still flawed....

come to conclusion that the only suitable option is a box of matches....unless you are mad enough to shell out several hundred pounds on an industrial strength rexel machine

In store at Tesco have one for £12.99. Its holding up so far.

Mine working fine now, but it does over heat if you are shredding 5 years worth of documents!

I bought this shredder a couple of weeks ago and it was priced at 17.98 but went through the till at £13.86.

Its definately the cheapest crosscut shredder I've seen and the waste basket is a good size too.

forgot to mention that my fellows shredder is now an expensive jigsaw puzzle.......
