Van Insurance advice

Please can someone advise me as to what cover i need:- My partner has a van he is employed by a company as a joiner and will be carrying his own tools in the van. He will not have a fixed place of work therefore will travel to different locations each day and also move during the day. I want to make sure i get him the correct cover. Alot of the websites ask him how long he has been in business and about his public liability but because this does not apply to him it wont let me progress the quotes and further.

Also can anyone recommend any places to get cheap quotes?

I hope someone is able to help.
